ELIGIBILITY: The B&K Precision Bench Photo Contest is open to all users of B&K Precision instruments in the United States who are legal residents of the fifty (50) United States (including the District of Columbia), and are at least 13 years of age by the deadline of June 30, 2009 11:59 p.m. Pacific Daylight Time. In the event of age discrepancy, legal verification may be required as allowed by law. Employees of B&K Precision, its advertising or promotion agencies, those involved in the production, development, implementation or handling of a Giveaway, any agents acting for, or on behalf of the above entities, their respective parent companies, officers, directors, subsidiaries, affiliates, licensees, service providers, or any other person or entity associated with the Bench Photo Contest, and/or the immediate family (spouse, parents, siblings and children) and household members (whether related or not) of such employees. B&K Precision reserves the right to verify, at its sole judgment, winner eligibility. Void where prohibited by law.

THE SPONSOR: The 2009 B&K Precision Bench Photo Contest is sponsored and promoted by B&K Precision Corporation, 22820 Savi Ranch Parkway, Yorba Linda, CA 92887 ("Sponsor").

AGREEMENT TO OFFICIAL RULES: Participation in THE CONTEST constitutes entrant's full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein.

PHOTO REQUIREMENTS: We are looking for creative and original images of your B&K Precision test bench including instruments, wiring and test setup. Images may include test instruments from other manufacturers, however, at least one (1) actual B&K Precision instrument must be represented in the photo. Contest participants retain copyright of their photos, but grant B&K Precision Corp. unrestricted permission to use the images for marketing or promotional purposes.

PHOTO RESTRICTIONS: Your photo should accurately reflect the subject matter as it appeared. Photos that have been digitally altered beyond standard optimization will be disqualified. Acceptable adjustments include color, contrast, brightness and sharpness; removal of dust and scratches; cropping. Unacceptable modifications include photo composites (combination of two or more photos, not of the same scene); the addition, duplication, deletion or moving of objects in the photos.

Artistic effects filters, and any other such photo alterations that may change the "natural" appearance of the scene as might be observed by the naked human eye should not be used, and will not increase your chances of winning.

Entrants must not infringe on the rights of any other photographer or person, or temporarily swap, borrow or appropriate instruments in order to participate in the photo contest.

DEADLINE: The final date for submitting photos is June 30, 2009, 11:59 p.m. Pacific Daylight Time. B&K Precision anticipates notifying winners in July 2009. To avoid uploading delays, please do not wait until the final days of the contest to enter.

CRITERIA: Photographs will be judged on originality, creativity, overall impression and efficient use of work space. Be sure your photo is clear and viewable, and that any B&K Precision instrument is clearly identifiable in the photo. All decisions made by the judges will be final and binding.

B&K Precision is not responsible for entries delayed, not submitted, lost, damaged, late or misdirected photographs, or for uploading connections, garbled transmissions, unauthorized intervention or technical malfunctions. Void where prohibited. Duplicate entries will be disqualified. One entry per person.

PRIZE(S): The prize for each of the three (3) winning entries is one B&K Precision Limited Edition 2709LE Handheld Digital Multimeter.

YOUR RIGHTS: Entrants retain ownership and all other rights to future use of the photographs they enter except for the following: Your entry to the contest constitutes your agreement to allow your entered photographs–and/or your name, city, and state of residence–to be published as a contest participant, winner or finalist in B&K Precision publications, news releases, newsletters, or website, and used for promotions of B&K Precision products or online photo features and contests, and emails.
