The model 848 is a great low cost EPROM Programmer designed for anyone with a computer with a Parallel Port who wants to read, copy, program or burn common IC’s.

• Q: During the Hardware Installation process I get an error that says; “The software you are installing for this hardware: has not passed Windows Logo testing to verify its compatibility with Windows XP. Continuing your installation of this software may impair or destabilize the correct operation of your system wither immediately or in the future. Microsoft strongly recommends that you stop this installation now and contact the hardware vendor for software that has passed Windows Logo testing. ( Continue Anyway ) ( STOP Installation )”. What should I do?
  A: In order to use your programmer you will need to click the “Continue Anyway” button, the software will not install properly if you don’t. The software has been extensivly tested and installed on thousands of computers without any issue.
