How to Request an RMA for Instrument Service

If you need to send your B&K Precision instrument into our North American Headquarters for repair or calibration, follow the steps below to request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). This process ensures your device is properly logged, tracked, and returned efficiently.

Information You’ll Need to Complete the RMA Form

Before filling out the form, gather the following information:

Model #Found on the front of the instrument (e.g., "880" or "8600B").
Serial #Found on the back or side of the device.
Repair Service TypeChoose from: None, Warranty, Non-Warranty, or Service Warranty.
Calibration ServiceChoose from: None / NIST Calibration / NIST Calibration with Data / NIST Calibration with Before & After Data
Full Description of ProblemProvide as much detail as possible. Include data logs and images if available.

How to Submit an RMA Request

  1. Go to myBK page linked here: myBK
  2. Log In or Create an Account (If new and you are creating an acount, verify your email to activate your account, be sure to check your spam folder if you do not see the verification email).
  3. Select “RMA Request” from the top menu.
  4. Fill out the RMA form and submit it. This will generate an RMA number.
  5. Print the RMA Packing List (Click the blue “Print Label” button after submission)
  6. Pack the Instrument Securely with plenty of protection (Include the printed RMA packing list in the box and Ensure the device is well-protected for transit).
  7. Ship to the Following Address:
