What is the difference between the 'Store' and 'Save arb' function on my 407X Arbitrary Waveform Generator?
2019-12-23
“Store” is for saving all waveform parameters, configurations, starting address, length, etc. It does not store waveform memory data, but is used rather as a quick way to recall front panel setups or arbitrary waveforms stored at different points in memory.
“Save arb” is used to save the actual arbitrary waveform into memory – same as when you exit the arb menu and it asks if you want to save the changes to memory. You can save as many waveforms as you want at different starting points up to the maximum amount of points allowed in memory.
